This was a kid that went to my school last year named alex. i hardly knew him personally (i only spoke to him a few times)on the last week of school he came up to me and grabbed my shirt by the sleeve and said he had the same one..this is the last memory i had of him because in august alex went to a beach party and got hit by a bus. He died that night, two weeks before school started. It was on the news and was the most shocking thing that i heard last summer because everyone knew him..i just couldn’t believe that someone i saw everyday at school just suddenly disappeared in such a tragic way. He was only 17. He never got to experience adulthood or live out his dreams( i think he had wanted to be a rapper). All his friends miss him and talk about him everyday. I see his sister around at school and i just feel so bad for all the pain she might be suffering from his death. He made such an impact on everyone in his short life. I guess i’m just trying to say that be thankful for everyday that you live because it could be your last, things can change in a second. We should focus on living life and caring about others instead of material items. Spread that word around because we never know if we’ll get to see the light of the next day.
REST IN PEACE ALEX, NO ONE WILL EVER FORGET YOU
